Carpenters or Apprentices / Contractors:

We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Carpenters or Contractors to join our team. You must know how to work with raw and finish materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment. Many of our projects run through nights and weekends, so a flexible schedule is required.

We are looking for a well-rounded skill set with the ability to work unsupervised on their own or to work with a team to complete the following types of work:

- Framing additions & alterations (building floors, walls)
- Complete Building Envelope Construction
- Small framing repairs
- Some knowledge of insulating & air/vapour sealing practices
- Siding installation
- Assist in performing demolitions
- Door and window replacements
- Cutting and installing interior trim (window & door casings and baseboards, and other finishes)
- Drywall and painting skills an asset but not required
- Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, mantels, etc..




- Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed

Requirements:

- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have attention to detail and do high quality work
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own transportation – truck is preferred
- Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools as well as measurement tools

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$80.00 per hour
