Who We Are

Cove Centre is a psychologist-led mental health clinic rooted in the Comox Valley. Founded by psychologists Dr. Kallista Bell and Dr. Zoey de Domenico, Cove Centre is a trauma-informed, collaborative practice built around one idea: that excellent care and a sustainable clinical career aren’t in conflict — they reinforce each other.

Cove Centre is expanding in-person services at its Comox clinic and is seeking a licensed psychologist interested in building a meaningful practice on Vancouver Island.

The Role

We’re seeking a psychologist licensed with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC to join our team as an independent contractor, delivering psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments in-person from our Comox clinic. Experience with children, youth, and/or adults is welcome. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in assessment work and values the depth and impact it brings to client care.

We are welcome to applicants currently working as school psychologists.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments for children, youth, and/or adults
- Produce thorough, clearly written assessment reports within professional timelines
- Collaborate with referring providers and the broader care team




- Contribute to a practice culture of consultation, mentorship, and continuous learning
- Deliver affirming, trauma-informed assessment experiences across diverse populations
