- Organize and coordinate medication deliveries to patients’ homes, healthcare facilities or other designated locations.
- Schedule delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and resources.
- Communicate with patients over the phone to confirm delivery times and address any related inquires of concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patients receive accurate information regarding their medication deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries.
- Utilize Kroll software for record keeping.
- The delivery coordinator will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- 1 or more years of related pharmacy experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Kroll is an asset.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and basic understanding or prescription medications.
- Willingness to adhere to regulations and guidelines governing pharmacy practice.
- A demonstrated commitment to high skilled ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
