Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity during transit
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and mechanical systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly




- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and freight manifests
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when minor mechanical issues arise during trips
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load or unload freight at warehouses or distribution centers

Experience & Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly in long-haul routes or interstate transportation
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transporting various cargo types
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients
