- This position will be filled by either a Physiotherapist or an Occupational Therapist

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensed to practice with the College of
Occupational Therapists of Ontario
An undergraduate in Kinesiology/Human Kinetics preferred, in addition to an OT education program
Well-developed upper extremity assessment skills to develop treatment plans based on assessment
findings are preferred; certified Hand Therapy Certification is an asset
Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer status for wheelchairs and walkers is an asset; must be
willing to obtain within first 3 months of employment, if not already authorized.
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and sustained basis
Strong leadership ability and interpersonal skills, and able to work collaboratively with an inter-
skilled team
Ability to be flexible and adapt positively to constant changing situations
Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Participates as an engaged team member, supporting a postive culture of patient and resident safety.
