Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Hand to help take charge of exciting construction projects, help lead a skilled team and help us deliver exceptional results. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and ownership.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of daily activities of construction teams to ensure project timelines are met.
- Interpret and work from schematics and blueprints to guide construction efforts.
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in budgeting and estimating project costs to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with foreman to address any issues that arise during construction phases.




- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in office.

Skills

- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and ownership.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding site plans for effective project execution.
- Operate machines such as Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, and Dingos
- Experience with time management to work with Foreman and Project Manager to keep sites efficient
- Familiarity with quality control processes to uphold industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
