Cryogenic technicians assist servicemen in the HVAC industry e.g. plumbers to asses the challenge at hand, apply liquid nitrogen to different sizes of pipes, ensure the safety of ice plugs formed inside the pipe and maintain adequate levels of freezing. All training is provided.

N-Two was established in 1996 focusing on liquid nitrogen applications, such as pipe freezing, shrink fitting and press freeing. We have grown to be the leaders in the industry and offer further solutions in the form of hot tapping and live thermowell installations. With over 30 years of experience, N-Two has focused on providing and developing innovative solutions to a wide range of challenges in the mechanical and manufacturing industries. The head office is located in North York, Ontario and offers solutions nationwide.

We are looking to grow our team again - adding two more Cryogenic Technicians. If you love working with your hands, problem solving, and are able to work independently as well as with teams, this career may be just right for you. Technical training in cryogenics (pipe freezing) is given on the job.

Position: Cryogenic Technician

Reports to: General Manager

Requirements:

Able to think independently, solve problems on demand
Dedicated to excellent customer service




Able to work with flexibility in the service trade industry, which includes some weekends and nights
Able to drive manual transmission vehicles
Have a clean driving record and can provide a driver’s abstract
Have a clean criminal record (some of our clients are in high security facilities)
Able to go out of town on jobs and stay overnight

The skills learned on the job will give you knowledge in:

Hot tapping on water lines
Pipe freezing applications
Shrink fitting (applying liquid nitrogen to metal parts)

Safe handling of liquid nitrogen and compressed gases
