Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team!

We are a single doctor practice located in a spacious rural area with plenty of parking and greenspace to walk patients and staff pets. We are privately owned, thus allowing us autonomy to tailor client and patient care as well as make internal decisions about community support. Our current hours are 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM - 4:30 pm on Saturdays, however we hope to offer evening services again in the future.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is comfortable communicating with and educating clients in regards to standard vaccination schedules, parasite treatment and prevention, feeding, dental care, and medication administration for both cats and dogs. They should have understanding of preparing and dispensing medications and familiarity with the process of triaging and booking appointments and procedures.





The applicant would also be able and willing to work behind the scenes, including patient restraint, preparing and running in house labwork, assisting with acquiring and submitting X-rays, preparing, monitoring and cleaning up after surgeries, administering patient care to hospitalized animals, and basic clinic upkeep.

Pay: $18.25-$25.81 per hour
