Trillium Metal Stampings is an IATF-16949 certified manufacturer of metal stampings, weld assemblies and electro/mechanical assemblies. For over 75 years, Trillium has supplied a wide variety of industries with high-quality parts and exceptional service.

We are currently hiring a College or University Co-Op Student to help us develop a Corporate Sustainability Program.

*Please note that this Co-Op position will be partially funded through the WILWorks Program, which has specific requirements of students in order to be eligible for the Co-Op position.

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Start Date/End Date: September 8th, 2026-December 11th, 2026

Responsibilities

The sucessful candidate will develop a Corporate Sustainability Program consisting of, but not limited to the following:

- Carbon footprint (define boundaries, research net zero models and mapping/calculating Scope 3 emissions)
- Environmental risks (develop a tracking format and performing risk analysis)
- Forced/child labour risk mapping
- Human Rights
- Conflict minerals (develop company wide report consistent with company policy)




- Compliance risks and mapping for other programs such as REACH, Packaging, Whistleblowers, etc.

Requirements

This Co-Op position will be funded partially by EMC's WILWorks Post Secondary SWPP funding platform.

To be eligible, students must be:

- Registered, full time or part-time, in a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution in any program (e.g., Arts, Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (International students are not eligible)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- Students hired on WIL placements must be registered at a recognized Canadian College or University, and be enrolled in a program or course where a work placement is part of the study plan (proof will be a condition of employment)

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
