Job Posting: Rebar Foreman

Mega Rebar, a rebar fabricator and distributor situated in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Rebar Foreman. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Core Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to company standards
- Lead and motivate employees to maintain productivity and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members about daily tasks, schedules, safety, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and project specifications
- Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints
- Track and maintain detailed records of site activities, labour hours and material usage
- Conduct daily quality control checks
- Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
- Offload rebar trailers and position steel so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Review and approve timesheets and ensure accuracy of daily reports
- Lead and organize toolbox talks and daily huddles

Work Conditions:

- The daily use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toe work boots, gloves, helmets, and hearing protection, will be required.
- Highly repetitive tasks.
- Fast-paced environment




- Heavy lifting required.
- Attention to detail.
- May have exposure to hot and cold temperatures, heights, confined space, etc.
- Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands.
- Must be adaptable to work early mornings and late evenings.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Varying locations in the lower mainland for each job site

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a supervisory position within the rebar industry in Canada
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, bend, twist and maneuver without physical restrictions.
- Class 5 drivers license

- Placing foreman experience
