We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications, ensuring high-quality results. This role requires a robust understanding of various construction processes, including concrete forming, masonry, and the use of hand and power tools. The Concrete Finisher will work on diverse projects such as flooring installation, restoration, and renovation, contributing to the durability and aesthetic appeal of our structures.

Responsibilities

- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and moving materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise finishing work
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration, and flooring installation as needed
- Assist with concrete pouring, curing, and sealing processes
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate project activities
- Conduct quality checks on finished surfaces for smoothness, levelness,



and overall appearance

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools
- Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques
- Experience with hand tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, and screeds; familiarity with power tools including mixers and grinders
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely for lifting or moving materials
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate execution of tasks
- Skilled in caulking, welding, flooring installation, and renovation work as needed
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for high-quality finishes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment

Job Type: Full-time
