Event Setup Technician (Part-Time)

647 Photo Booth is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Event Setup Technician to join our team. This is a flexible, part time position, primarily on evenings and weekends, assisting with weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and other special occasions throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

- Set up and dismantle photo booths and backdrops.
- Deliver, assemble, and pick up audio guestbook phones and telephone booth displays.
- Set up and operate our “Dancing on a Cloud” dry ice effect and cold spark machines (training provided).
- Load, unload, transport, and organize event equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, tested, and event-ready.
- Follow setup instructions and maintain a professional appearance while representing 647 Photo Booth.
- Work independently or alongside our team to ensure events are set up on time.Re: Event InquiryRequirements
- Valid G driver’s licence.

Compensation

- Starting pay: $24–$26 per hour, based on experience.




- Minimum 4-hour paid shift.
- Some events require a setup earlier in the day and a return later for teardown. Compensation will reflect split shifts and event requirements.
- Kilometre reimbursement is provided when using your personal vehicle to transport company equipment.
- Opportunities for pay increases based on performance and reliability.

- Reliable personal vehicle.
- An SUV, minivan, or cargo van is considered a strong asset.
- Able to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Previous event setup experience is an asset, but not required. We will train the right candidate.

Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per day
