We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing exceptional patient care in a skilled healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by the physician.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout each examination.
- Review patient history and explain examination procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with departmental standards.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Current registration with CMRITO in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
