Established in May 2012, KINTON RAMEN was one of Toronto’s first Japanese ramen restaurants. Led by Executive Chef Aki Urata and his team of expert ramen chefs, KINTON RAMEN strives to deliver an extraordinary dining experience every time. We are currently seeking a part-time position.

1912 4 ST SW, Calgary, AB

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Greet all guests and present menus
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries
- Take orders from guests and place them into the POS
- Serve food & beverage items as ordered in a timely fashion
- Transparent dishes and replenish washed service ware for the FOH station
- Prepare and stock all service items, including maintaining assigned par levels
- Prepare checks, process transactions, and guest payments when required
- Maintain dining room to ensure the utmost visual appeal and Brand alignment
- Comply with and implement all health, food safety, and hygiene standards and policies
- Other duties may be assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Legally authorized to work in Canada, or have the necessary work permit.

Experience





- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting
- Japanese culinary experience is an asset
- Responsible Alcohol Service certifications as required (i.e., Smart Serve, Serving It Right, Proserve)

Skills & Qualifications

- Secondary School Education or equivalent, proven and related work experience
- Strong communication skills in English; Japanese is considered an asset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to always push to be better
- High level of attention to detail
- Team player – assist in a positive Guest experience, however necessary
- Energetic – ability to work in a fast-paced environment
