We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Dance Instructor skilled in multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and more! Duties

- Lead engaging dance classes across various styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre, tailoring instruction to different age groups and skill levels
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, choreography, and performance techniques to foster students’ progress
- Provide clear demonstrations and constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of dance
- Prepare students for performances or recitals by choreographing routines and rehearsing with them regularly




- Maintain a safe environment by ensuring proper warm-up routines and injury prevention practices are followed
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and development when appropriate

Qualifications

- Proven experience teaching multiple dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre
- Strong background in dance performance or choreography with a passion for sharing knowledge with others (student acceptable for our minis)
- Experience working with children or early childhood education is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct students of varying ages and skill levels
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate fun while emphasizing technique and safety
- Basic tutoring or mentoring skills to support individual student growth
- Additional skills such as cooking or classroom experience are a plus but not required
