Role Description

JZ Communications is continuing to grow and looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to join the team. This role is a part-time, remote position in the greater Montreal area with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the social media accounts for a portfolio of clients.

- Develop and implement social media strategies/campaigns tailored to each brand
- Maintain and update content calendars
- Capture, create and edit engaging content (static images, carousels, and reels), with a strong emphasis on short-form video
- Schedule, publish, and manage social media posts across multiple platforms
- Engage with customers, influencers and opinion leaders
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs to foster community engagement




- Analyze social media insights and adjust strategies accordingly
- Assist with influencer outreach and communications
- Assist with email marketing (experience with Klaviyo is a plus)
- Collaborate with clients
- Manage brand reputation

Qualifications

- Must be based in the Montreal area and bilingual
- Experience managing brand social media channels with a proven track record of growing audiences and engagement
- Experience creating engaging content (both image and reels)
- Experience with social media monitoring and analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with email marketing (and Klaviyo in particular), a plus
- Knowledge of the Montreal/Quebec influencer and/or media landscape, a plus
- Other experience in communications, marketing, public relations and email marketing, a plus
