Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position requires solid communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform cash register reconciliations
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed
- Keeping store neat, clean and welcoming for customers

Experience:
- Previous experience in retail is preferred
- Cash handling experience is required
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions




- Strong verbal communication skills in English are required
- Knowledge of phone etiquette is preferred
- Ability to sell products and upsell additional items to customers
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job requirements:

The ideal candidate will be an alert individual who is punctual, good with basic math, is able to multitask, can work in a fast paced setting, and can provide top notch customer service.

You must be living in Brantford, ON to apply - do not apply if you are not in Brantford, Ontario. The job is in person and cannot be done remotely.

Pay: $17.60-$17.80 per hour
