General Labourer - Contract Position

Baymag Inc., an industrial mineral company specializing in the production and international marketing of Magnesium Oxide, is accepting applications for a General Labourer for our open pit mine located near Radium Hot Springs, BC.

This is a temporary position for 2 - 3 months.

· The Labourer position is an entry-level position in an open pit mining environment.

· Valid driver’s license and ability to operate process and mobile equipment in a protected manner is a requirement. Class 3 licence would be considered an asset.

· Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job at all times.

· Must be a self-starter with a good employment record and able to work shift work with minimal supervision.

· Must have a high school diploma.





· Must be able to commute to Radium Hot Springs

· Work experience in an open pit mining facility is a definite asset.

· Starting rate $40.56 per hour

· 8 & 10 hour day shifts, weekend availability
