Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice or Red Seal Technician, where you will develop your skills and knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals. You will be responsible for assisting with vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance tasks while progressing toward your certification or Red Seal designation. Your enthusiasm for mechanics and customer service will help ensure our clients receive top-quality service every time.

Duties

- Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for vehicle repairs and parts installation
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair instructions to support accurate repairs
- Support the team with general maintenance duties around the shop to keep the workspace organized and efficient

Qualifications





- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair tasks
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and assembly procedures in automotive settings
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients when needed
- Demonstrated commitment to learning and professional growth in automotive technology
- Valid driver’s license or relevant certification is mandatory.
- fluent in english is an asset
