Summary of Duties

We have an chance for a Neurophysiology Technologist in EEG, to work in the Neurophysiology Lab on a Casual basis. The EEG Technologist plays an essential role in the diagnosis of neurological disorders, including seizures and traumatic brain injuries.

Qualifications/Skills

- - Registered with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroneurophysiology Technologists (CBRET) – requirement
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate is preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent practical experience in EEG is preferred
- Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team in outpatient, inpatient and ICU settings
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and time-management skills
- Demonstrated effective technical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent patient care skills
- Motivated, independent learner
- Commitment to and participation in quality improvement activities
