Duties

- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and well-being
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols to ensure proper treatment adherence
- Provide compassionate care for individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments, implementing specialized techniques to enhance their comfort and safety
- Support meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs while respecting dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas
- Monitor residents’ health status by observing changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff




- Support residents with mobility exercises and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards is essential
- Proven caregiving skills with a focus on compassion, patience, and respect for diverse needs
- Experience performing household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation in a home care or similar setting is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $23.00-$27.53 per hour
