Caulfeild Veterinary Hospital in West Vancouver is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians & technician during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Be comfortable restraining both dogs and cats with various temperaments
- Basic hygiene with cleaning of exam rooms, surgery suite and end of day vacuuming and mopping
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Greet clients and patients
- Answering phones, schedule appointments and surgeries
- Using cloud-based software for scheduling appointments and processing payments
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatments and follow-up care

Qualifications

- Experience as a veterinary assistant & receptionist preferred - preference given to those with experience and VOA/VTA certificate - but not required
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to multitask
- Reliable, must be on time




- Must have reliable means of transport as our bus system can be unreliable
