Job Summary

FIXORA is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in GTA and Durham Region. This is a commission-based position offering solid earning potential for experienced technicians, including those qualified in sealed system repairs, who consistently deliver excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances such as Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure customer satisfaction and appliance performance.

Duties

- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, Stoves, Dishwashers and Microwaves.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns
- Conduct on-site residential service calls.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and payments collected
- Install new appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Accurately diagnose appliance issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing FIXORA.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies Skills




- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing various appliance components.
- Proven appliance repair skills across different brands and models
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and ensure a positive experience
- Gas (G2) Licence is a plus for repairing climate control appliances

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an appliance repair technician
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
- Demonstrated excellent record of customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Valid Ontario driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance permitting business use
- Own standard appliance repair tools
- Ability to lift and move appliances as required
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

Compensation

- Commission-based compensation per completed service call
- Expected annual earnings of approximately $70000–$120,000, depending on performance and workload.

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
