Employment Type
- Part-time (with opportunity to increase hours)

Job Responsibilities
- Teach Singapore Math classes for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 in a classroom setting.
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities when required.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Assign and review homework regularly.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure high-quality instruction and consistent curriculum delivery.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Previous classroom teaching experience with elementary or middle school students (Grade 1–8).
- Experience teaching small-group or classroom-based lessons (not only one-on-one tutoring).
- Robust classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in mathematics.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred
- Previous experience teaching the Singapore Math curriculum.
- Familiarity with Singapore Math methodologies, including CPA (Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract) and model drawing strategies.
- Experience teaching math enrichment or competition preparation.
- Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ability to teach multiple grade levels (Grade 1–8).
- Experience working with ESL students is considered an asset.
