- You are at least 18 years of age and out of high school
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE PET CARE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALLY (those with managerial experience out of the pet care industry will be considered as well)
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reception duties:
- be able to speak calmly and professionally to all customers
- be upbeat and super friendly
- answer phone calls, emails, direct messages, etc.
- schedule appointments
- check dogs in and out
- clean & tidy up facility
Manager duties:
- problem solver
- be able to answer customer questions and concerns in a professional and nice manner
- Ability to coordinate and operate day to day without supervision
- Ensure all staff members maintain a clean facility at all times
- Prepare staffing, maintenance and cleaning schedules on a daily and weekly basis
- Create a friendly and welcoming environment for clients and ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Must be able to work closely with other staff, in a positive, practical manner;
- Assist customers with standard account & client related requests.
- Take photos of our canine guests and overseeing social media presence
- Take client bookings with accuracy
- Verify vaccinations, confirm reservations, schedule daycare/boarding details
- Maintain inventory of supplies and retail products
- Contact clients in case of emergencies and/or if additional information is required
- Assist with customer service issues that arise
- Maintain employee schedule and resolve immediate needs, conflicts and absences
- Implement and continue new and on-going training program of staff
- Provide good leadership and communication with daycare staff
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
Job requirements:
This job is PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY DEMANDING. Working with dogs in an off-leash daycare environment requires employees to pay attention to detail, be quick-thinking and have physical endurance (to walk, lift and clean). This job may not be suitable for all people.
PLEASE NOTE* Punctual and regular work. Reliability is a must when working with live animals. Last-minute shift cancellations are not possible when working with live animals. Applicants must be willing and ready to work on all major holidays.
