We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Maker/Pizza Cook to join our vibrant new location team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. The Pizza Maker/Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas from scratch, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards, and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using various methods such as ovens or grills
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work area
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Follow all safety protocols during food preparation and cooking processes
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking,
or food service is required at least 6 months
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
