Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for local freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, including heavy machinery operation and basic automotive repairs when needed.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as forklift operation for loading and unloading freight,



maintaining a clean and organized work setting.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 (or equivalent) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within local delivery routes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the spot.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and dispatchers.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required.

Pay: $5,000.00-$6,500.00 per month
