Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full Time Pet Groomer to join our agile team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. Responsibilities

- Comfortable sharing a private grooming room with another groomer. Will never be working at the same time
- Able to work evenings and Saturdays as needed
- Able to groom both dogs and cats
- Have experience in behaviour grooms and practice fear free methods
- Comfortable with performing sedated grooms with a RVT
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing of pets according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by handling them gently and securely
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, including sterilizing tools and equipment after each use
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide recommendations for pet care




- Assist with managing appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary to lift or move large or heavy pets safely
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Proven experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates
- Strong knowledge of grooming techniques, breed standards, and pet safety protocols
- Ability to handle pets with care, patience, and confidence in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift heavy pets as needed
- Customer service skills that demonstrate friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness
- Must be reliable with a positive attitude and a genuine love for animals

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
