On behalf of our global manufacturing client, we are looking for a Financial Analyst. This will be based in Mississauga, ON and will be an on site position. This is a maternity leave coverage contract.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and tracking of customer tooling workorder budgets.
- Invoice completed tooling projects; follow up on collections, close out tooling inventory accounts.
- Prepare audit schedules related to customer tooling where required & assist with inquiries.
- Maintenance of standard manufacturing costs, review of Bill of Material accuracy, performs cost rolls.
- Co-ordinate with purchasing/business development to ensure cost data is accurate.
- Responsible for the inventory accounting cycle, reporting and variance analysis (includes MRO).
- Responsible for the completion of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations of all inventory and tooling accounts and analysis as assigned.
- Completion of various reports, internal and government.
- Providing financial support to the business units; supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in weekly APQP meetings.
- Knowledge of and ensures compliance with Finance Policy Database, as well as Minimum Control Procedures.
Other Tasks:
- Effective use of Escalation Process.
- Compliance to IATF customer requirements
- Attends all scheduled meetings and training.
- Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position.
- Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties that may be assigned.
Education and Experience:
- University degree in accounting or related field
- CMA/CPA designation (or near completion) is preferred.
- Four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High proficiency Excel skills.
- CMS experience is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00-$79,000.00 per year
