Store Manager – Bakery

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy bakery in Thornhill, ON. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in the food industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, as they will be responsible for opening and closing the store when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery.
- Supervise, train, and support store staff.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and daily workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety standards.
- Handle cash management, daily sales reports, and store documentation.




- Resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Work closely with the ownership team to achieve sales and operational goals.

Qualifications

- 2–3 years of management experience in the food industry is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Must live in or near Thornhill for convenient commuting.
- Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
