Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and related hardware. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure, supporting both hardware and software needs across the organization. The Computer Technician will play a vital role in ensuring seamless technology operations, providing technical support to staff, and implementing system upgrades as needed.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair hardware issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and optimize performance
- Provide technical support to end-users via in-person or remote assistance
- Maintain inventory of hardware components and peripherals
- Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues
- Document technical procedures, repairs, and configurations for future reference




- Collaborate with IT team members to implement system updates and security patches
- Ensure data security by following best practices for backups and virus protection

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Familiarity with network configurations, protocols, and security measures
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or associate degree is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$23.50 per hour
