Graphic Designer & Receptionist

Planet Signs Limited is looking for a creative, organized, and customer-focused Graphic Designer & Receptionist to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

If you have a passion for design, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. This is a full-time, on-site position where you'll play an important role in both our creative projects and daily office operations.

Planet Signs Limited specializes in custom signage and branding solutions for commercial clients throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. We take pride in delivering high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and reliable solutions that help businesses stand out.

What You'll Do

- Design signage, logos, branding materials, and marketing graphics.
- Prepare print-ready artwork for production.
- Collaborate with clients and the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Welcome visitors and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a skilled manner.
- Schedule appointments and assist with general office administration.
- Maintain organized records, filing systems, and data entry.
- Support communication between clients, designers, and the production team.

What We're Looking For

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design software.




- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the signage or print industry is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred.
