Location: Best Western Bonnyville Inn & Suites – Bonnyville, AB

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Personnel to support the

daily upkeep of the hotel. This role ensures our guest rooms, public areas, and building

facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks
- Inspect guest rooms and hotel facilities
- Clean carpets in hallways, breakfast room, stairs, and guest rooms
- Maintain exterior areas: parking lot, garbage and recycling bins, plants, lawn care
- Complete seasonal duties (grass cutting, snow shovelling)
- Replace door lock batteries and complete monthly CO₂ testing
- Handle minor repairs (painting, staining doors, basic plumbing/electrical)
- Assist with contractor coordination when needed
- Support deep cleaning schedules with housekeeping
- Maintain public areas including the lobby, breakfast room, hallways, fitness room,
- business center,



and games room
- Pick up supplies from hardware stores as required.
- Maintain clear communication with the General Manager, Executive Housekeeper, and Front Office Manager

Qualifications:

- Experience in maintenance or building operations
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable with physical tasks and outdoor work
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible availability (various days/night shifts)

Work Environment:

- Indoor and outdoor tasks
- Standing, walking, lifting, and bending are required
- Fastpaced environment
