Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Part-Time Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, guest and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is vital in maintaining a safe environment and protecting company assets through proactive surveillance and loss prevention measures.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access and trespassing
- Enforce security protocols and access control procedures for employees and visitors
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary




- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and deterring theft or misconduct

Qualifications

- Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
