Job Summary

Alt Vape Inc. is seeking a part-time sales associate at our Northland location.

Our ideal candidate has at least some standard of knowledge on vaping products and is willing and ready to learn, a robust sense of organizational skills and communicates openly and effectively with customers and coworkers.

Furthermore, said ideal candidate also has a reliable mode of transportation to and from work, a high school diploma, and takes punctuality seriously.

Duties

- Greet customers and make them feel welcomed into the store, engage in conversation and help with what they need.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and highlight key features of products in order for customers to make informed purchases.
- Understand the importance of ID verification and the consequences of not demonstrating said understanding (always ID customers appearing under 30).
- Operate Point of Sale systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts.




- Maintain and upkeep product displays to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage time efficiently to balance customer interactions with stock organization and store duties.
- Daily cleaning of the store (wipe downs, organization, etc.).
- Taking/maintaining stock and inventory of products.

Requirements

- Previous retail experience- the more, the better.
- Willing to work different shift types within our schedule (5pm - 11pm, 9am - 5pm, etc.)
- All candidates must be 18+.
- Be personable and able to communicate efficiently/kindly with customers and coworkers.
- Basic math skills for the purpose of effectively operating Point of Sale systems.
- Speak kindly and with conviction.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
