Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a secure and clean environment
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Ontario
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist
- Bilingual skills in Faris and English are a plus
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Familiarity with dental assisting duties is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
