Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Comerial electrical work, with experience in construction, renovation, and industrial environments. The Journeyperson Electrician will ensure all electrical installations meet safety standards and operate efficiently, supporting the ongoing success of our projects.

Duties

- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical components
- Work with low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various installation tasks
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing outdated electrical infrastructure
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment during construction and maintenance activities




- Collaborate with project teams to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timelines

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics
- Extensive industrial electrician experience, including installation and troubleshooting of complex systems
- Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring, PLCs, and automation controls
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws)
- Experience with construction sites, renovation projects, and electrical upgrades
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure environments
- Solid understanding of safety standards related to electrical work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $44.61-$46.61 per hour
