Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our small, but growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using a variety of welding techniques. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality products that meet strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools, machinery, and materials in a quick-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and assemble metal parts, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or assemblies using cranes or forklifts.
- Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for fabrication.
- Maintain a clean,



organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; inspect completed work for quality assurance.

Skills

- Proficiency in welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures involving cranes or other lifting equipment.
- Competence in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations; understanding of schematics is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

- Highschool Diploma.
- Must have valid CWB welding tickets/certification.
- Preference given to candidates with recognized training in welding.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum 3 years of welding experience.
- Experience in a metal fabrication shop.
- Preference given to candidates with minimum 3 years of welding experience.

Candidates may be required to perform a weld test during the interview process.

Employees are offered company-paid benefits after completion of probation.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
