Roma Fence Ltd. is a leading provider of fencing, gates, and automated access solutions across Ontario. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automation Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Whether you have experience in automation, construction, building materials, security systems, garage doors, or B2B sales, we'd love to hear from you. Product training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
- Meet with residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers to assess project requirements.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and recommend suitable automated gate and access control solutions.
- Coordinate projects with customers, vendors, and the installation team.
- Assist with purchasing and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Support inventory planning and order management.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and relevant regulations.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings as required.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Perform other sales and operations-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, account management, project coordination, or operations.




- Experience in construction, fencing, building materials, security systems, garage doors, electrical, industrial products, or related industries is an asset.
- Automation or access control experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for client visits.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
