Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 5 TonTruck Driver to join our logistics team. Air brake endorsement is mandatory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Duties

- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, including heavy lifting as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist with warehouse duties when necessary, including moving materials and operating forklifts.





Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction during deliveries.
- Forklift operation experience is desirable but not mandatory.
