Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Handyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facility’s physical condition, ensuring all equipment and systems operate efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service to guests. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, contributing to a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for both staff and visitors. Experience in mechanical, electrical, and facilities management is highly valued, along with leadership capabilities to supervise maintenance activities when necessary.

Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural components.
- Oversee small projects or repairs that require supervision or coordination with external contractors.
- Maintain safety standards by identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in managing facility upgrades or renovations while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns related to facilities promptly and professionally.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors when applicable, ensuring work quality and safety compliance.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting wiring and control systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing or hospitality facility maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and reports.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee maintenance teams or projects effectively.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
