Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to lead our construction projects and ensure that they are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of earthwork construction processes. You will be responsible for supervising teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of earthwork construction crews to ensure project goals are met.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- GPS (global positioning system) use
- Reading civil drawings

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Foreman and civil experience
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards in construction.




- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Understands civil drawings and is familiar with civil contracts
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and ability to get to work on time
- GPS operation knowledge
- People skills

Assets

- Clean driving record to drive company vehicles
- Experience operating and working around equipment such as excavators, graders, gravel trucks etc.
- Underground utility installation, snow clearing, demolition experience
- First Aid safety ticket
- Ground Disturbance ticket

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
