The candidate must have experience in operating a variety of equipment which may include: Mini excavator, loader, tractor, front end loader, skid steer and hydroseeder.

Truck Driving responsibilities include operating a variety of trucks, which may include: Tandem or Single Axle, tractor trailer, flatbed, Water Truck, and Hydroseeder (6X6).

Driving responsibilities may include short-haul local, long-haul (1-5hrs travel) equipment deliver to transport equipment and or materials to and from on the job sites in a safe and efficient manner. Driving experience on rough and/or uneven terrain is required.

Job Duties

- Drive and operate a variety of trucks/equipment to complete a variety of job tasks to assist with landscape and construction projects
- Operate Equipment for a variety of tasks which may include: fine grading and finishing, landscaping, back filling, ditching, excavating, rough grading, sub-grade excavating, trenching, material handling, slope grooming etc.
- Carry out daily per-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Complete driver’s log book daily and ensure logs are handed in at the end of each week
- Transport materials to and from the job site, including loading and unloading
- Using proper tie-down procedures,



secure materials and/or equipment to be transported to ensure the safety and security of the load
- Utilize GPS devices and maps to plan travel schedules and routes
- Report on the condition and operating status of all equipment using service requests and hazard reports
- Assist with general labor duties when needed
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Work Conditions
- Various locations in Saskatchewan on commercial construction sites

Requirements

- Versatile working hours between 7am and 6 pm, including weekend work (2 Saturdays a month)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. work in a physical demanding environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Criminal Back Ground Check required along with Drug and Alcohol testing due to nature of the work

Wage is based on experience

Position is physically demanding and requires a driver that is physically fit and can be available for longer days.
