If you have 3-5 years experience building docks, decks, or fences, take pride in your work and enjoy being on the water, we have an excellent opportunity for you.

We build docks, both at our shop and at customer sites. We also install boat lifts, drive-on PWC docking ports, and swim rafts. This opportunity offers lots of variety.

Reporting to Dave and Mark, partners of Dream Docks, the successful candidate must be comfortable working near, on or sometimes in the water, travelling by boat and getting in/out of a boat.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all equipment, safety items, tools and materials are checked, double-checked and organized before heading to the job site, to ensure productive time spent.

Clean up and prepare worksites

Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks

Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned

Skills:

Ability to use hand and power tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to show up to work and job sites on time





Ability to anticipate problems and proactively produce solutions

Ability to provide professional and friendly customer service

Qualifications for Carpenter:

Must have Driver's License G

Boater’s License an asset

3-5 years of experience in the construction industry

Professionalism in manner and attire

Willingness to travel to construction site(s) daily

Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary to meet customers’ or Dream Docks’ needs.

Meet physical demands such as lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull heavy items on a regular basis, stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time

Job Types: Full time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
