We're looking for a passionate Grill Cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in every plate, and wants to be part of one of Toronto's most exciting hospitality teams.

What You'll Do

As a Grill Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering the consistency and quality our guests expect every night.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and executing menu items to Vinny's culinary standards.
- Working the grill station with precision, speed, and consistency during service.
- Cooking steaks, pork chops, fish, seafood, proteins, vegetables, and other menu items using proper grilling techniques.
- Preparing ingredients and completing daily prep according to station requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service.
- Following food safety, sanitation,



and safe food handling standards at all times.
- Rotating product using FIFO practices and minimizing waste.
- Assisting with inventory, receiving deliveries, and proper storage of products.
- Maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Supporting opening and closing procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the culinary and front-of-house teams to create an exceptional guest experience.
- Following all Health & Safety, WHMIS, and company policies.

What You Bring

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
- Previous grill experience is required.
- Experience cooking premium proteins, seafood, and steaks is considered an asset.
- Strong knife skills and understanding of professional cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused during busy service periods.
- Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Culinary education is an asset but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
