York Region Psychotherapy & Counselling Services (YRPCS) is seeking a compassionate, motivated Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our growing private practice in Keswick, Ontario.

This contractor position offers the flexibility and independence of private practice without the challenges of running your own business. You'll benefit from an established referral network, administrative support, a fully furnished professional office, and a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system.

Rate of pay: $80-$110 per client/couple depending on experience.

The successful candidate will have the following:

A Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work.

Registered and in good standing with The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Preference will be given to those with experience working with children, teens and couples.

Proof of liability insurance

Confidence/comfortability with working independently.





Confidence with a variety of different presenting issues and populations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and disciplined about note taking and completing assessments in a timely fashion.

Knowledge and competency in maintaining confidentiality of clients according to HIPPA legislation.
