Elora Distilling Company is a distiller-led award winning grain to glass distillery located in picturesque Elora, Ontario founded in 2020. We ferment, distill, blend, and package on site a variety of premium spirits and liqueurs with an emphasis on using local ingredients whenever possible. In 6 years, we have won multiple awards on the world stage for the quality of our spirits and locally for our contributions to tourism and culture of the area and have experienced consistent, year over year sales growth.

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes following our Head Chef's specifications. You will play a key role in contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping.
- Executing menu items while working collaboratively with the kitchen team
- Following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Ensuring that food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Performing other kitchen duties as assigned
-Participating in menu development and weekly specials

Skills and Experience required:





- Kitchen experience in a skilled kitchen is a plus
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment or solo.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Food handling certification

Expected hours: 24- 40 per week

Pay: $19-$22 /hr + Tip pool and Spirit/Merchandise Allowance based on hours worked

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
