Front Desk Clerk / Night Auditor – Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth overnight operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, skilled, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with confidence and care.

Responsibilities

- Welcome and check in guests with a warm, positive attitude
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage reservations and maintain accurate records in the property management system
- Process payments and follow proper cash‑handling procedures
- Complete nightly financial audits and prepare reports for management
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs
- Monitor security systems and help ensure guest safety during overnight hours

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred




- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Comfortable handling multi‑line phone systems with proper phone etiquette
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for audits and reservations
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism during night shifts
- Familiarity with front desk operations and guest service best practices is an advantage

Compensation

- $19.00 per hour
- Additional pay for night shifts
