Assistant Team Lead – Farmers Markets & Granville Island

Join A Bread Affair, BC's first certified organic bakery, and help lead our Farmers Market and Granville Island retail team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people and is ready to grow into a Team Lead position.

You'll work alongside the Team Lead, learn every aspect of the role, and be expected to step in and lead the team when needed. This is a development position designed for someone who wants to become a Team Lead.

What you'll do

- Help lead the Farmers Market and Granville Island team.
- Set up and take down our market booth and products.
- Drive a company vehicle to and from assigned markets (Class 5 Licence required).
- Welcome customers, process sales, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Help train and coach team members.
- Step into the Team Lead role when required.

What we're looking for

- Friendly, dependable, and enjoys leading by example.
- Previous retail, customer service, or leadership experience.




- Comfortable working outdoors and able to lift up to 50 lbs (20 kg).
- Available five days per week, including weekends, with early morning starts.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
