Responsibilities and Job Description:

- Welcome customers and create an unforgettable experience in person or over the phone
- Serve guests dining in or from the takeout counter
- Create beverages including espresso-based drinks as well as juices and teas
- Gain knowledge of our wine list and alcoholic beverages to prepare and serve
- Keep bistro facilities clean and well maintained (front service counter, dine-in area, restrooms etc.)
- Ensure products and merchandise are presented neatly and set tables with care
- Restock products such as coffee, cups, boxes, teas, etc.
- Complete sales and orders using a POS system
- Package pastries and orders correctly according to chits and custom pre orders

Skills, Qualities and Experience:





- While previous experience working in food service or retail as a barista, server, sales associate, cashier, team member, or customer sales representative is always helpful and appreciated, your attitude and willingness to learn is most important.
- First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity
- Excellent attention to detail in all areas
- Passionate about food
- Dynamic and excited to grow with the company

You must be available to work on weekends (trust us, having Mondays off is excellent!). A normal day will start in the morning and finish early in the afternoon and will be spent in a lovely, French inspired atmosphere that always smells amazing! We are proud to offer our full time team members a fully funded, comprehensive health and dental benefits program.

The entire staff (excluding owners and we don't hire managers) share equally in the tip pool which consistently adds $5-$8 per hour worked to each staff member's daily pay.
